Hi, I’m Megan. I provide design services to other fine jewelry businesses, in addition to creating custom client designs and ready-to-wear pieces.

I have worked in the fine jewelry industry for a cumulative 9 years. My first jewelry job was as a sales associate at a store in the Soho neighborhood of New York, NY. I meditatively polished heavy silver chains and displayed delicate gemstone necklaces, hoping it would be unnoticed that I didn’t push sales or conversations on customers. I wanted undisturbed time with the inventory.

I have always been an artist. My third grade classmates commissioned me for drawings and watched over my shoulder as I worked. After earning a BFA from Pratt Institute, I started the humbling work of trying to find my place in the professional world.

Some realizations come to you gradually, taking their time to surface. I worked in fast fashion design for nearly a decade before I left NY to attend The Gemological Institute of America at their global headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. I wanted a path that would allow time for intention.

Jewelry is imbued with intention. It asks us to reside in chorus with the present, past and future. Within it, an opportunity to enrich our own lives and stories, but also to expand our scope to explore “where else can this enrichment blossom?”

Memory is rewritten with each reflection. Who we are is ours to make.
